A unique program designed for young mothers who wish to continue their education. Academic upgrading as well as courses in personal development, career education and effective parenting are included. A high quality daycare facility is provided for children as part of the program's service. First Steps is run in conjunction with the Kamloops Boys and Girls Club and the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Upon completion students may qualify for ABE Certificates.
