The development and operation of adventure and nature-based tourism requires extensive first-hand experience in the local area. This course is intended to facilitate participant's travel to a region in order to study the adventure and nature-based tourism product and business opportunities. The field trip will become the basis for practical, non-theoretical, classroom discussion and project work.
Prerequisite: ADVG 405, ADVG 406, ADVG 409 and 3 additional 400 level ADVG credits
