Although the emphasis in this course may vary, topics will include: the nature and role of small business in the Canadian economy; evaluation of new ventures; small business organization, capitalization, planning, marketing and financial management. The course requires development of a business plan and strongly emphasizes the role of the entrepreneur as a leading factor in building a national economy.

Prerequisite: BBUS 312 and BBUS 343
