This course introduces key concepts related to language and literacy learning and teaching in the elementary language arts classroom and across the curriculum. The fall term will give students an overview of the knowledge required to implement a language program, with an emphasis on the reading process and teaching reading. The course is linked with the initial practica.
Prerequisites: Admission to the UCC Bachelor of Education program.
