MATH 141

Mathematics for Business and Economics 2 (3,1,0) 3 credits

This course is intended for Business and Economics students and is a continuation of MATH 140. Topics include mathematics of finance (including simple interest, compound interest, discounting, annuities, mortgages, loans, bond price and yield, stock valuation techniques), integration and techniques of integration, fundamental theorem of Calculus, areas under curves, difference equations, differential equations, improper integrals, and applications of all topics.

Prerequisite: MATH 140 or equivalent

Note: Credit will be given for only one of MATH 141 or 124 or 125
