Differential Equations for Engineering (3,1,0) 3 credits

Ordinary and partial differential equations are studied from an applied perspective, with examples from physics and engineering. Computer software is used to some extent for visualization and solution of differential equations.

Prerequisite: MATH 123 or 124, MATH 130 or 212

Corequisite: MATH 211

Note: Credit will not be given for both MATH 256 and MATH 224
