Association of Professional Administrators
Thompson Rivers University Association of Professional Administrators (APA) represents excluded/ exempt staff at the Kamloops, Williams Lake, and regional campuses.
We are the managers, supervisors, and confidential employees who work to provide an environment where students can have a positive experience at one of BC's newest universities.
APA membership is open to all Administrative employees of Thompson Rivers University with the exception of the President and staff on Board contracts.
The TRU APA was organized in 1998 to:
- promote collegiality among its members;
- provide a forum for discussion of common interests;
- represent the collective interests of APA members, including but not limited to, representation before the Executive and the Board of TRU in matters pertaining to terms and conditions of employment;
- to ensure that the interests of APA members are fairly represented in matters pertaining to conflict resolution withinThompson Rivers University.
