The EUReKA! Science Program is broken into 3 components:

  1. WORKSHOPS: EUReKA! will visit your classroom and conduct a 90 minute long presentation to your class. Teachers will be able to choose from some of our 9 new topics, which cover many areas of science such as engineering, human biology and chemistry. The workshops EUReKA! develops connect directly with designated ministry learning outcomes and align with the BC curriculum where possible.

  2. SUMMER CAMPS: If you are between the ages of 7-13, then you may come and join us for a week-long, fun-filled science camp (***Age is based on the child's age by Dec. 31 of the current year***). During a week of camp you will be able to: participate in several hands-on science activities; watch an explosion-filled chemistry magic show; soak over 90 other people in a waterfight; and invite your family to join you for a celebration of the week which will include frozen treats on Friday. This summer EUReKA! will be offering 8 weeks of technology camp, including a Girls Only Tech Week! CONTACT US: Phone 250-371-5534 Email eureka@tru.ca

  3. COMMUNITY EVENTS: Every summer EUReKA! brings hands-on science activities to community events in Kamloops and surrounding areas. In 2023, EUReKA! reached over 9000 youth during community events helping to promote excitement in science to youths of all ages. EUReKA! is looking forward to being a part of the following community events this summer:
