LGBTQ2S+ Inclusion Education Initiative

The 4-part education initiative is certain to answer questions you may have such as: how do I create a ‘positive’ and safe space for students, faculty and staff members who are gay, lesbian, bisexual transgender, queer, two-spirit (LGBTQ2S+)? What language do I use to be inclusive of members of the LGBTQ2S+ community? And more!

The initiative will be led by Michael Bach, Independent Consultant, Founder and CEO Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI), CCDI Consulting, Pride at Work Canada, and Deputy Chief Diversity Officer for KPMG International. Author of three books - Birds of All Feathers: Doing Diversity and Inclusion Right; Alphabet Soup: The Essential Guide to LGBTQ2+ Inclusion at Work and the third is being released in June.

ONLY one (1) cohort of 50 participants will be accepted for this 4 part initiative.

Each session will last approximately 2 hours on the following days:
  • June 10 — in person
  • June 24 — virtual
  • July 10 — virtual
  • July 22 — in person

Attendance is required at all four sessions. Participants will receive a certificate at the end upon completion.

This training has been postponed until October 2024.
