Filming, Photography and Drone Use
Kamloops is quickly becoming known as a film-friendly city and garnering attention throughout the industry. Here at TRU, we support our faculty, staff, and students in their film/photography projects, as well as amateur and commercial productions. If you are considering TRU as a location, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about what we have to offer.

Filming and photography
The Responsible Use of Space Coordinator, is the film liaison, vetting all filming and photography requests at TRU, and assisting with internal resource co-ordination for project approval.

Drone use
Prior to using a drone on or off campus for commercial, research and non-research purposes, pilots must submit the filming, photography and drone use form.
