TRU Alumni Leadership Volunteer Opportunities

Thompson Rivers University Alumni office is now accepting applications for leadership volunteer roles.

“The opinions of alumni really inform our direction and strategy, so having volunteers in key advisory positions is so valuable, both for the Alumni department and for TRU” says Dustin McIntyre, TRU Alumni Manager.

There are several positions open on the TRU Alumni Advisory Council. The Council provides committed leadership and provides a strong community voice as an advocate for TRU Alumni programs, events, and initiatives. Council members do not have to be located in Kamloops.

All alumni interested in putting their name forward for any of these positions can complete our application form. Alumni are welcome to call and discuss these positions with our TRU Alumni staff at 250 828 5498.

Volunteering is a proven way to grow your network, make important connections, have an influence in the things you care about, and to even make new friends. Volunteering is one of the best and most effective ways of making change.
