Admission Requirements

  1. Educational Requirements
    1. B.C. Grade 10 or equivalent, however, Grade 12 is strongly recommended
    2. Successful completion of College Math and English Assessment or successful completion of Math and English upgrading courses through UCC College Preparation Department or other similar College Preparation programs throughout BC.
  2. General Requirements
    1. Successful College medical (form obtained from Admissions Office)
    2. Instructor interview and program orientation
    3. Student Recommendation Form completed and returned to Instructor
    4. Strong, positive attitude
    5. Good manual dexterity
    6. Must be physically able to lift and manoeuvre boxed product, front and hind quarters of beef, etc.
    7. Strong physical build
