Chemistry laboratories begin the first week of classes and students failing to attend will lose their laboratory space and may be required to withdraw from the course. Students in Chemistry laboratory classes must purchase their own approved safety goggles (cost $6-$10), laboratory coat (cost about $20), and satisfactorily complete a laboratory safety orientation.
