There is an ever increasing need for health care assistants to help older adults in residential care facilities, assisted living facilities and in clients' private homes.
Admission Requirements
- Successful completion of Grade 11 minimum (Grade 12 preferred), or equivalent
- One of: Composition 11, Creative Writing 11, Literary Studies 11, New Media 11, Spoken Language 11, EFP Literary Studies and Writing 11, EFP Literary Studies and New Media 11, EFP Literary Studies and Spoken Language 11 with a minimum B (or equivalent)
- English language competency for non-native English speakers (BC Health Care Assistant Programs - minimum English language competency requirements)
