TRU SAFE
The TRU SAFE app provides just-in-time information on safety, security and emergency situations. It is TRU’s official platform for emergency notifications.
TRU SAFE App Features:
- ALERTS - receive notifications about potential dangers or situations on or near campus that could affect your health or safety.
- CONTACT – easily contact security, emergency services, first aid, report concerns access a variety of campus maps, security/safety guides or view guides on what to do in an emergency.
- FRIEND WALK - send your location to a friend so they can watch you walk to your destination in real time and can trigger a call to emergency services if necessary.
TRU students, employees and family members are strongly encouraged to download the official safety app free app from your Apple or Android app store — it’s the way to ensure you are in the know on all things safety.
TRU SAFE relays key information in a timely manner to ensure the safety of TRU students and employees while keeping the community, including parents, informed. Sign-up is compulsory.
