Provincial Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

Residency Requirements

A minimum of 6 TRU credits (online or on campus)

Certificate Requirements

30 credits total, with a GPA of 2.00 or higher over all courses required to complete this credential, as follows:

Core Knowledge Requirements (27 credits)

• One of ENGL 1101 Composition, CMNS 1291 Introduction to Professional Writing OR CMNS 1811 Business, Professional and Academic Composition or equivalent (3 credits)
• One of MNGT 1211 Management Principles and Practices, MNGT 1221 Supervision or equivalent (3 credits)
• One of COMP 1131 Computer Programming 1 or MIST 2611 Management Information Systems or equivalent (3 credits)
• 18 credits in IT-related courses, usually COMP courses (18 credits)
• One three-credit elective, except CMPT courses (3 credits)
