Parking Lottery 2024/25
Due to high demand, premium and reserved long-term permits for Kamloops campus parking are allocated through a lottery system. The lottery for premium permits for the 2025/26 year (effective Sept. 1) will open late April.
The premium lottery will run for approximately 4 weeks. For 2025/26, the premium lots are C, V1 and T2. Winners will be announced at the end of May or start of June.
The reserved lottery will run for approximately 5-6 weeks. Winners will be announced in June.
Please note: If you have applied to both the premium and reserved lotteries, and are offered a premium permit, purchasing that permit will automatically remove your name from the reserved lottery.
How to enter the lottery
When the lottery is live, log into tru.concordparking.com using your TRU credentials. Select your desired permit (by lot) for premium or reserved. Enter your vehicle information and name if this is the first time you are applying for a permit. This will create your parking account. You will be entered into the lottery for the selected permit. Repeat if interested in other lots.
Payment options (credit card or payroll deduction) are selected when you are accepting a permit offer after the lottery concludes. Payment is by credit card on the date you click accept, or by payroll deduction beginning on the effective date of your permit, Sept. 1, 2025.
Note: you are not eligible to win more than once for the same lottery. If you are offered a premium permit and decline it, your remaining options are to enter the reserved lottery or to purchase a general or economy permit. Fall semester general and economy permit sales will open in August.
Wait list
The Premium and Reserved wait lists will open approximately one month after each lottery is completed.
Anyone who missed the lottery or was not successful in getting a premium or reserved permit can apply to be on a wait list if permits become available.
Any declined, cancelled or unsold premium or reserved permits will be allotted automatically to wait list applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, starting on a date yet to be determined, and continuing into fall semester.
