Reusable Cutlery Program

Kick the habit ... the single-use habit!

TRU is moving ahead of the federal government’s ban on single-use plastic cutlery by eliminating all plastic cutlery on campus.

A thousand custom bags filled with a stainless steel fork, knife and soup spoon were given out for free to students, staff and faculty to promote this new program — making it easy to pack your own reusable cutlery with you.

There are compostable bamboo or wooden single-use cutlery at campus food service outlets for those who don’t have reusable cutlery, but please remember to bring your own!
