Meet Chai
This tortoise shell kitten is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, and she is sure to warm your heart like a cozy cup of tea. Chai is a female domestic shorthair and approximately 6 months old. Being so young, she is full of energy and loves to play any chance she gets, especially with toy wands and her sister, Pekoe. She is a very curious kitten who loves exploring new environments and will make the cutest squeaks if her quest is interrupted. Chai is a quirky girl who loves to give licks while being snuggled and is more than content to curl up in your lap once she is all played out. Meet David
This sweet boy is eager to find a forever home that will give him all the attention he deserves. David is a 7-month-old, DSH who came into the program with his 3 brothers. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves attention and the company of anyone. David loves to be held and will snuggle right up to you. He is an outgoing and confident kitty who loves to play and explore. He has many kitty friends in the program and should have no problem making new feline friends with a slow introduction. Meet Earl
Earl is an 8-month-old, neutered male domestic short haired cat. His beautiful coat and playful personality have made him a program favorite. Earl is curious and always exploring new things. He has even been working on wearing a harness to allow him to explore around the clinic! This sweet boy enjoys a good play session and is quite energetic, but equally enjoys snuggling up and being the perfect lap cat. With a slow, controlled introduction, we think Earl might be able to get along great with a feline or canine companion. Meet Ember
Ember is a charming girl with a pawsitively perfect personality! Gentle and more than happy to receive belly rubs, Ember has the most ideal, cuddle bug kind of love to give. Ember is a lady of leisure and adores cuddle sessions. Her affection knows no bounds and she will not hesitate to tell you how happy she is to see you. Purring is her favourite pastime, and she wants nothing more than to bestow all her adoration upon anyone she meets. Ember eagerly awaits her new home and would be ecstatic to meet you! Meet Fiona
Fiona is a very sweet and cuddly girl. She is a 1-year-old female domestic medium hair cat. Fiona loves cuddles, chin scratches and attention whenever she gets the chance. Although she does love her cuddles, she also loves to play with her toys every now and then. Fiona would likely do best in a quiet home without other cats or small children. She may do ok with another respectful cat or older children as long as there is a slow, proper introduction as she can sometimes get a little overwhelmed. Fiona is a social eater, which means she loves it when someone sits with her while she eats. Meet Kermit - Pending
Kermit is a super sweet boy with a big personality. He has earned the nickname “Hermit” as tends to be a little shy at first, but he is quick to warm up. When he comes out of his shell he loves to watch and chirp at birds outside, loves cheek rubs, attention and lots of treats. He has not been introduced to dogs yet but has done well with very with slow introductions with other feline friends. Kermit would thrive in a quiet home with lots of one-on-one attention and lots of love. Kermit would likely prefer to be the only pet in the house so he can spend his time relaxing and enjoying life to the fullest with his new family.
Meet Kobe - Adopted
This handsome fellow is an approximately 2-year-old, male neutered, DSH cat. Kobe is a very sweet boy who is full of affection. He loves to lounge and perch by the window, and he also enjoys a good snuggle. He’s a very calm and gentle boy but has a playful fun side as well. He’s quite content lounging on your lap or equally happy doing his own thing around the house. Given proper introductions, we believe he would do well in a home with other pets. Meet Leo
Leo is a 7-month-old domestic short hair cat. He came into the program with his 3 brothers Tazo, David, and Steve. Leo is an affectionate, quiet individual who loves a good chin scratch. When he is not sleeping or enjoying a good scratch, he enjoys playing with toys or wrestling with his brothers. With his sense of curiosity and outgoing personality, he has not met a person that he does not like. He is the perfect balance of quiet and playful. He would be well suited as a companion for a quiet older couple or a young family with kids. He would do well with other cats as he has great social skills and a compliant personality. He has yet to be tried with dogs, but we suspect he would do well with proper introductions. Meet Lilo
This precious feline is a female domestic short hair and is approximately 4 years old. This sweet lady is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a gentle, loving friend. Though she’s a bit shy at first, Lilo warms up quickly with a little patience, and once she feels at home, she’ll be your devoted cuddle buddy. She adores ear and cheek scratches, and her constant purrs are as soothing as they are endearing. Lilo loves to explore her surroundings and is often found gazing out the window, dreaming of adventures. If you’re ready for a gentle soul with lots of love to give, Lilo can’t wait to meet you!
Meet Pekoe
This girl is a very playful, spunky, little adventurous 6-month-old kitten who came into the program with her sister Chai. Pekoe would be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a playful, cuddly family member. Pekoe’s personality is perfectly described as cat-dog. She’s the perfect mix of slight dog characteristics (like play bowing, tail wagging and her love of belly rubs) while still maintaining all her cat traits. Pekoe has been tested with other cats and did great. Dogs she was only tested at a distance, but we believe that with a proper introduction she would thrive in a multi-pet home. Meet Princess - Adopted
Princess is a sweet 1-year-old domestic short haired cat, who is an affectionate kitty to those who give her love! She loves her scratches behind her ears and likes cuddles and attention throughout the day. Princess is also a cat who occasionally likes her space, she will let you know but would do well with an experienced owner who can respect that. She loves spending time in her cat tower, playing with toys and being with her people. She’s been introduced to the harness, and she’s been enjoying her time to explore on the leash! She still needs a little more time to feel totally confident on leash, but she’s on her way to success! Princess has been introduced to other cats, but she’s not quite comfortable with cat friends yet. She would do best in a quieter home with just her and her people. Meet Steve
This adorable feline is a male, black and white domestic short hair. Steve is approximately 7 months old and came to the program with his 4 brothers. Steve is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tattooed. He is very playful and has a loving personality. Once you get to know Steve, you will see that he is the sweetest boy and would make a perfect addition to your family. We are confident that with a slow introduction he could get along with both dogs and cats. Steve will win your heart over just like he has with the students and faculty in the TRU Veterinary Technology program. Meet Tazo
Tazo is an ~8-month-old spunky guy who will steal your heart and maybe a few treats along the way! Here at TRU, Tazo spends his days basking in the sun, playing with his feline pals, and getting all the love he deserves. This confident kitty is looking for people who will let his silly and adventurous personality shine through. With his fabulous markings, like a tiger, he struts around like he owns the place. Tazo would do great in a home with other feline pals, and we believe with a gradual introduction he would do fine with a canine pal too. Tazo has been neutered, microchipped + tattooed, vaccinated, socialized, and is ready to meet his furever family!
