Meet Badger

Badger is a friendly and outgoing cat who loves attention and gets along well with other cats. Badger came into the VTEC program with her sister Poppy and if you are possible looking for 2 companions, the pair would love to go together. Badger would also likely do well as an only cat, or in a house with an already established friendly cat. If you're looking to welcome a playful and loving companion into your life, Badger is the perfect match for you!

Meet Ginger

Ginger is a friendly and loving cat who enjoys relaxing in cozy spots and snuggling with her favorite humans. She is very affectionate and loves chin scratches and head rubs. Ginger also has a playful side, enjoying rolling around and chasing string toys. She seems indifferent to other cats she has met in the program so would likely do well as an only cat or with another cat who respects her boundaries. Meet Indigo

Indigo is a calm, loving, 1 year old, neutered male tuxedo cat. Indigo loves to play almost as much as he loves to cuddle! He can be hesitant with new environments but warms up quickly and will be rolling over for belly rubs in no time. Indigo is happiest with a big window to peer out of, and a warm lap to snuggle into. He has the potential to get along well with another cat in the home but has not yet been introduced dogs. If you are looking for a sweet lap cat to snuggle with, come and meet Indigo!

Meet Neville

He is a sweet, playful, approximately 1 year old domestic long hair cat. He’s an affectionate, energetic and loving cuddle buddy. Neville enjoys being brushed, looking for attention, his treats and playing with other cat buddies. Neville has been introduced to a few of the cats here and gets along very well with them. If you think this confident boy would be a good fit for you, he could be a great addition to your household!

Meet Orca

Orca is the cuddliest and most curious cat you'll ever meet! She is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a curious, loyal, and loving furry friend. Whether you’re playing together, watching TV, or reading a book, she’ll be right by your side purring away. This sweet girl would love to find a family who can match her playful energy and also provide plenty of cuddles and affection. Meet Otter

Otter is a big, loveable, 1-year old brown tabby. He is very affectionate individual with a big personality! Otter loves human company and loves to play. Otter came to us with heavily matted fur, so he had to undergo a full “lion shave” to correct that. While he has a short coat now, he does naturally have a long coat that will need brushing and maintenance as it grows back to its full length. Otter would do very well with someone who can spend some time with him daily. We are currently working with him on harness training and developing his social skills with other cats.

Otter will make a great companion for someone who wants a fun-loving cat who will greet you enthusiastically at the door when you come home. If you think Otter would be a good fit for you, please fill out an application!

Meet Poppy

Poppy is a playful, outgoing kitten who will provide hours of entertainment and companionship! Her favourite things to do are chase toys, zoom around, purr, and receive head scratches. This social butterfly loves to make friends and enjoys playing and spending time with all the other cat’s that she’s been introduced to here at TRU. She would likely do well in a house with other friendly felines. If you’re looking for an active, playful and affectionate kitten, then this sweet, bouncy little lady is the one for you. Meet Ziggy

This sweet girl is a bundle of energy and love. She’s a playful little lady who enjoys chasing after toys, climbing around, and finding new ways to entertain herself (and you)! Ziggy is also a total cuddle bug—she loves snuggling up for some quality lap time and purring her heart out when she’s getting all the attention she deserves.
