Meet Addie
This stylish girl is a very sweet and gentle 1.5-year-old bully/lab mix with a lot of love to give. She is always excited to see you in her quiet manner and loves to meet other people and dogs. She gets along fabulously with the other dogs in the program; playing with her dog friends is her favourite activity. Training with treats works well for her as she has a great appetite! A home with another canine companion would greatly help boost her confidence. We believe she would also be happy as the only dog if she had a patient owner willing to work on her shyness. Meet Jessie
This wonderful girl is a collie mix and is approximately 3 years old. She is very intelligent, energetic, and loves people! Jessie thrives on attention and cuddles, especially belly rubs! She has lots of great dog friends here art TRU but can be a tad picky about who she plays with, generally she prefers males over females in her dog friend circle. Jessie is a very fast learner; she would likely excel at dog sports or in a very active household where she has her energy needs met. Once she’s comfortable with you and has enough space, Jessie will show you all her best moves, her “zoomies”! Jessie would do well with an experienced handler as she can be exuberant when over stimulated. She might have too much energy for a family with small children but would likely do well with older, dog experienced children. Meet Jetta
Jetta is an affectionate ~3-year-old female bully cross with a heart of gold. Her sweet, loving personality has made her a favorite among the students and faculty here at TRU. Jetta loves socializing and getting her zoomies out, but she is also extremely happy snuggling up to you, with her big head on your lap, enjoying all the cuddles you can give her. The students lovingly refer to her as “couch potato”. Her charming personality draws everyone to her, as does her big, beautiful smile! Jetta gets very attached to her people, and also has dog friends here at TRU. On her own or with proper introduction to other pets, Jetta would be a perfect addition to your family! Meet Jinx
Jinx is an 11-month-old spayed female Rottweiler mix. This spirted girl is looking for her forever home! Jinx is a bundle of energy, ready to bring joy and affection into your life. She’s a playful girl who loves to explore and is always up for an adventure. Jinx has shown that she gets along well with some dogs. She is eager to learn and please, and with the proper introductions we feel that she would love another dog to play with! Meet Joey
This charming ~5-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees is on the lookout for his forever home! Joey is a very loving and gentle boy who adores cuddling and cherishes belly rubs. He has a friendly and playful spirit and adores spending time in the dog park playing with his furry friends. Joey is a very smart boy who knows a few tricks, such as sit and shake a paw. He loves to be rewarded with treats, and they can be used to motivate him. Joey would thrive in a home where he can have plenty of exercise and outdoor time for his goofy personality. Joey is up to date on his vaccinations, deworming and has a microchip and tattoo for identification. Joey has not been in contact with cats or children since being at TRU, but he is very gentle and smart, so we believe that he will adjust to being around either very quickly. Meet Twix
This handsome, energetic husky is always up for an adventure no matter the season! Twix has an eagerness to please his people and a sweet, loving personality. He is very friendly with people and other dogs. Twix has never met a dog that he didn’t like. He has shown an interest in cats but has not actually met any face to face here at TRU. We suspect with proper, slow introductions that he would not mind having a cat friend too. He is a loyal and affectionate guy who would be the perfect addition to your family. Meet Cole - Pending
This handsome, 1½ year old husky has beautiful eyes, a big heart, and lots of love to give. Cole is a playful and active boy who would make an excellent family member in an active home where he can get the adventure he craves. He is an exceptionally friendly and gentle dog who loves to make new canine friends. While he’s full of lively vigor, Cole can be a little shy at first and may need calm introductions to new situations and people, to help him thrive and feel comfortable. Cole would do well in a home where he can absorb all the attention for himself, or equally well with a dog companion and friend.
