Accessing CAPER-BC

CAPER-BC is a service available to students who have been approved for alternate format materials as an academic accommodation and are already registered in the courses for which they require the alternate format materials. To access this service:

1. Fill out both pages of the CAPER application form and return it to our office via email. Please note that you are only required to submit your CAPER application form once. If you have filled out a CAPER application form in the past, please proceed with submitting your textbook information using the form below.
2. Provide your textbook information by filling out the CAPER request form below for each textbook that you require in alternate format.

• You can search the free BC Campus Open Textbook Collection to see if your textbooks are available.
• You can also look online to purchase the eBook versions of your textbooks on VitalSource.
