Communications, Storytelling, and Events

The Student Development Communications, Storytelling and Events team provides student-centred, accessible, concise, relevant, timely, authentic and responsive information that raises awareness of existing services and the student experience.

This small but mighty team communicates with students via bi-weekly emails, social media, blogs, videos, and newsletters. With the help of their student storyteller works to capture the student experience and inform students about what is happening at TRU. Each year Annual Reports are developed to highlight activities within Student Development and reflect on services and programming. The Student Storyteller Squad tells stories about the student experience from the student perspective and develops educational resources to support students academic, personal and social life. There is always events happening across campus and the Communications, Storytelling, and Events team promotes and supports events to enrich the student experience.
